BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING
WED. FEB.6, 2008

CALL TO ORDER:  Pres. Bill Adams called the meeting to order at &:32 p.m. at his home.

PRESENT:  Bill Adams, Cecilia Rexford, Walt Metcalf, Paige Hibbits, Bob Gaboury, Carole Warren, Anne Zachry, Allen Grizzard-Paul , Linda  Thayer-Gaboury and Acting Sec. Joe Dilibert

MINUTES:  Minutes of last meeting Cecilia moved they be approved, Linda seconded and they were approved as published.

TREASURER:  Bob Gaboury reported Service Acct. $17,824.93  and
Administrative Acct.-$5483.43

COMMITTEES:  Membership – New member Jan Edwards to be contacted re: 10 K Run Comm. Mtg.date and her interest in working with the committee.
John and Sandra will set it up.
10K- 5K Run  Bob Gaboury reported that Beth has been working on the cover

OLD BUSINESS:
1- Mid Year Convention March 1 in Riverside.  Walt indicated as many as 7 people are attending.  He moved to have the club pay the $35 Registration Fee and $27 Luncheon Fee for each person up to 7 members.
Linda seconded and it was approved.

2- Incorporation Articles drawn up by Doug Hill were approved and signed by the Executive Board to returned to Doug for further processing towards eventual 501C-3 Status.
3- Inter-clubs – Walt will make up a list of the Div. 42 Clubs and he and Cecilia will get signups to attend.

NEW BUSINESS:
1- CYA KIWINS- Need to pay their dues. Darryl will remind
them.

2-  PEANUT –DAY  FUND DRIVE– CYA has still not forwarded money for the three boxes they received.
       
3- DCM for Feb. moved to Feb 21 due to St. Valentine’s Day falling on the 14th.

4- SPECIAL GUEST DAY -  May 20th is tentative date –Discussion tabled.

5- SPECIAL K-DAY- Coming up in April.  Marge will check to see if Cam. Ranch House needs some work done there. Good project for Youth Groups and our club.

SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
FEBRUARY 26, 2008


CALL TO ORDER:  Pres. Bill Adams called the special meeting to order at 1: 35 p.m. at the Round Table Restaurant.

PRESENT: Bob Gaboury, Carole Warren, Darryl Sobelman, Walt Metcalf, Bill Adams, Anne Zachry

Walt Metcalf moved we donate $200 to help the family of Ben O while they go through the difficult times surrounding the cancer surgery and hospitalization of this young family member.
Bob Gaboury seconded it and the Board approved unanimously.

MEETING ADJOURNED-  1:50 p.m.
